North Castle Garbage Throwing Road-Rage Incident Being Probed

A road rage incident broke out on Route 22 in Westchester, prompting a call to police who attempted to track down the angry driver.

The North Castle Police Department received a report shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23, when a motorist reported a road rage incident in progress on Route 22 near Main Street.

According to police, the caller reported that a black Nissan Altima was driving erratically in the area, possibly involved in a road-rage incident with another vehicle. The caller stated that the driver of the Nissan was throwing garbage out of the window at another car during the incident.

Officers from the North Castle Police Department were dispatched to the area and attempted to locate the vehicle without success. The event ended without incident.
